Like Savs (can't find exact post, but i know it's there somewhere and reprocessed.org I have become a fan of Ross Barkman’s Modem scripts. I used 'Nokia 3G CID1' on my Nokia N70 on 3 and it seems to be working a treat - although I'm at work at the moment (with net connection) so I've not tested it entirely properly - shall do that later.

UPDATE Whilst this worked very well, it did cause me to use a lot of data, whilst not actually get very much done using the connection...
